Coming Next Week: Veterinary Care in Gaza

📢 Exciting News! Next week on The Pets Mag Podcast, we’re honoured to welcome Dr Saif Alden, who leads veterinary care in Gaza for Safe Haven for Donkeys.

Since launching their mobile veterinary clinic in April 2024, the charity has provided urgent veterinary care to thousands of working animals – many malnourished, injured, and suffering from neglect due to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

In war-torn Gaza, donkeys and horses remain essential for transportation and survival, yet they face unimaginable hardship, food shortages, and exhaustion.

Dr Saif and his team work tirelessly to ensure these animals receive the lifesaving treatment and medical support they desperately need. With another four-tonne animal aid package, including essential veterinary supplies, set to arrive next month, their mission is more vital than ever.

Watch our preview above and don’t miss this vital conversation on animal welfare in conflict zones! The full episode drops next week – stay tuned!

In our exclusive interview, we’ll speak with Dr Saif Alden about:

  • The challenges of providing veterinary care in a war zone.
  • The impact of Safe Haven for Donkeys’ mobile veterinary clinic.
  • The importance of working animals in Gaza and why they need urgent veterinary support.
  • How the public can help donate and support ongoing animal welfare efforts in Gaza.
