Piggy Prankster Hogs the Spotlight in Runaway Van Caper

Woman holding piglet

CCTV has captured the madcap moment that a PIG ‘let off the handbrake’ on the van he was travelling in.

The hilarious footage shows Olivia Mikhail, racing to get control of Kew Little Pigs ‘pig mobile’ before Smudge the pig can be seen hooting the horn in the driver’s seat.

The incident, which the farm is releasing on April Fool’s Day, shows Olivia briefly getting out of the van to open a door to the barn, but behind her the van  is rolling away with Smudge on board.

Olivia, who founded the award-winning Amersham attraction in 2010, said: “Smudge really is a cheeky thing, and is so curious. He’s the perfect character to join in with this fun video and loved to honk the van’s horn.”

Smudge is one of the attraction’s show pigs, who go out on the road attending occasions from corporate and educational events to weddings.

Olivia added: “Smudge really does love to travel in the pig mobile and goes all over to events including weddings and schools. But in real life he’s not in the driving or even in the passenger seat, he’s safely with the others in his special pen.”

You can have 20% off an Easter pig pet and play session at Kew Little Pigs by typing in KLPpigs24 at the online check out when booking.

Family tickets to the attraction are also reduced to £75.
